Athletic scholarships are highly competitive and like a job search, your athlete’s best shot as a candidate is to stand out from the crowd. Of course, standing out on the basketball court or the soccer field is a given. But, how do they stand out in other ways? Ways that will make a memorable impression away from the pool, the court or the field?
Having gone through the process with athletes, we’ve learned a few things. First and foremost, your athlete needs to develop a “short list” of schools that interest him or her. Next,they need to reach out to the coaches of those programs and express their interest… and they need to do so on a regular basis!
What’s a great way to do this? With their own, personal website. Sure, there are companies out there that for a fee (often a considerable, monthly one) will put your athlete’s info on a page in a database that college coaches “search regularly.” But does this give your athlete the edge that he or she needs? In order to have a fighting chance your athlete MUST stand out from the crowd with an image that shows not only athletic prowess, but commitment, initiative, creativity and, well, just plain hard work. And that’s where we come in.

How it Works
For a one-time fee of $400, we will:
- Help your athlete secure their own, unique site URL (web address)
- Help your athlete set up site hosting for a period of one year
- Build the framework of their website that will include, for starters, pages such as About,. Accomplishments, Photos, Game Schedule and Contact Me.
- Provide your athlete with a tutorial that explains how to add information and images, how to further personalize the site and make it their own
It can all happen rather quickly
Once we have the initial information needed ie bio info, photos and schedule, we will need approximately 7 working days to complete a first of the site.
